1) Barry Bonds reached 500 career SB.

After 169 RCAA/1.379 OPS and 161 RCAA/1.381 OPS seasons, Bonds is off to a .644 SLG, .486 OBA, 1.130 OPS, 41 RCAA start in his first 64 games. He has a 1.026 career OPS, compared to his league average of .748, and 1270 RCAA in 2503 games.

http://www.baseballblog.blogspot.com....html#95935293

3) Astros 2B Jeff Kent had a cortisone shot in his left wrist on Sunday, and while he's feeling better, he might not be able to return to the starting lineup until Friday. Kent has been out for the past 5 games.

After starting his career with -11 RCAA/.631 OPS (53 G) and -25 RCAA/.699 OPS (113 G) seasons, Butler hit .300 SLG, .276 OBA, .576 OPS, -9 RCAA in 37 games.

9) Rockies GM Dan O'Dowd is denying a rumor that LF Jay Payton is on the trading block.

10) The Pirates called up P Duaner Sanchez.

Sanchez had a 9.00 ERA/-3 RSAA in 9 games with the 2002 Diamondbacks and Pirates.

Prieto has a 4.85 ERA/-2 RSAA in 70 career games.

12) The Dodgers placed 1B Fred McGriff on the 15 day DL, retroactive to June 12, and called up 1B Larry Barnes.

McGriff has an injured right groin. It's the first time in his 18 year career that he's gone on the DL. After 34 RCAA/.930 OPS and 18 RCAA/.858 OPS seasons, McGriff is off to a .427 SLG, .315 OBA, .742 OPS, -5 RCAA start in his first 63 games. Johnson's move to the 60 day DL was just a paperwork one, to get an opening to place Bottalico on the 40 man roster. It doesn't affect his return date.
