Default THIS BUDS FOR BUD

It was in 1972-and he only had 44 hits for the whole seaosn i think-so the number crunchers might be able to determine if this is a season low for hits for anyone who hit in at least 15 games

yes-great going-but i am still curious if that is the lowest seasonal hit total for anyone who hit in at least 15 straight games

yup, he decided to 'retire' to some island off Massachusetts... and then he made a brief comeback with the A's the following season, in which he won a WS ring
