Amazing cell-phone story
I don't know that I've ever read a story like this one:
Austrian in hospital after running himself over
A 36-year-old Austrian is in hospital after he was run over by his own car.
Martin Loechmeyer, from Graz, started his car but went back to his house to get his mobile phone.
When he came back out, his car was rolling down the drive towards a busy road.
Mr Loechmeyer raced in front of the moving vehicle and threw himself on the bonnet.
However, he slid under the car sustaining three broken ribs and leg injuries.
The car eventually came to a halt after crashing into a tree 150 metres away.

"I would submit that if the world survives for a million years, perhaps its finest hour may be that in the last half of the 20th century, when the power to blow up the world rested in the hands of a few men in two very unsophisticated and suspicious countries, we didn't do it, and one American, Richard Nixon, moved the cold war away from permanent confrontation toward victory. How could any wrong that he did compare with that?" - John Sears
