NetShrine at The Ballpark Photo Contest

I've been thinking of this for a while - and a recent post by Skip made me think it was time to ask...........

............would you be willing to be part of a contest where, to get in, you had to submit a picture of yourself at a professional baseball stadium/ballpark, wearing some NetShrine gear (such as a T-Shirt or cap)?

For those internet camera shy, we could do one of two things - - with send a pitcure from behind, where we can see the "NetShrine.com" on the back of the shirt; or, you can send the picture with your face blocked out.

We could do the conest over the course of the year - - ending in October - - with the prize being something significnat - - meaning worth over $40.

Would you be interested and willing to be in a contest like this?

Works for me. I'll just hide my face behind a couple beers. That's where it usually is at the ballgame anyway.

We've got a couple of pictures from ballgames in the archives already, do we not?

drat, somewhere I have picture of me at Fenway in my NetShrine t-shirt. I'll have to take another one this season ... if hmrsf lets me wear a NetShrine t-shirt to Fenway - they appear to be bad luck for the Sox!

Max - will this contest be a drawing? or will be the pictures be judged somehow?

Haven't thought of that Satch - - drawing, again, IF WE DO THE CONTEST, would be fair - - based on the NDF All-Time Draft contest, where votes were very subjective, I'd be inclined to have a drawing.

The question is still out there - who would be interested in a contest like this?

I'll be at Great American for several early games. I was planning on wearing a Netshrine shirt to my first game, so I'm up for this.

I'll have my NetShrine gear on for several Louisville (AAA Reds) games this year and also for my 6/5 trip to the GAB for the Reds v. Evil Empire game. I hope to make the GAB a couple more times this year, hooking up with Craig S., sweaver, and others - maybe even the Indy contingent.

If I felt there were a chance I'd get to a game I'd be in. The only games I might make are Ottowa Lynx games, or maybe Rochester Red Wings.
