Default AL West 2003 Predicted Order of Finish

How do the west coasters stack up? Here's my guess:

1. Oakland
2. Anaheim
3. Seattle
4. Texas

All four could finish above .500.

I'd pick them in the same order, and I think any of them would win the NL Central.

This division won't be so tough as the past few years. A's will walk away with it. The WC will not come from the west. The Rangers will give Anaheim a scare, but will still hold onto the cellar. That said, there'll be no .300-caliber teams in the West. Even the Rangers should be in the 70+ win area.

Too many injuries doom the World Champions, A's go as deep into their rotation as everyone thinks the Yanks are, and the Rangers surprise everyone and stay competitive into early September.

The 1991 Angels finished 7th and last in the AL West with an 81-81 record. Does that count ????

I'd love to see the Rangers come out of the pack like the Angels did last year, but I don't see it happening just yet.
