Neither of those three...I don't remember Mattingly on anything unless it's the dreaded "answer I wasn't aware of".
He did play in Mattingly's town at the time he was on the box... |

Reggie did have a game for the Sega Master System, but he'd been a few months retired at the time.
It wasn't Gooden either...but he called games for him. (Pretty much gives it away now) |

That's the one! He was featured on the cover of Epyx's Sporting News Baseball in 1988. And oddly enough, he had his worst season the previous year, which all the stats were based on.

I'd have thought one of the earlier, late 70's to early 80's, Atari/Nintendo/Intellivision type games would have been player endorsed. Good question.
