Would he settle for a Hummer and a couple of retro jerseys?

What makes me truly sick is that his parents are obviously encouraging this BS. Worse than some Little League parents.

He should get a C for going to work for mommy. Try something adventurous like working for someone who won't call you her 'best little man'.

How could any wrong that he did compare with that?" - John Sears

Well said. The problem here isn't that there are too many lawyers. The problem is that one lawyer - this child's mother - is stupid and arrogant and hell-bent on inculcating her son with a whopping sense of entitlement.

This is Reason #12 why I no longer work in the public schools.

Great, just as I'm looking at becoming a high school teacher.

This one really chaps my suede.

Not just as a former, yet still certified HS English teacher, but the fact that this seems to have bipassed the teacher and went right to lawsuit. Talk about undermining professionals!

I like how this also references that he lost his opportunity at valedictorian - to me, that seems a bit trite. In our town last year there were 17 valedictorians. Does it even matter any more?
