If a tree fell in the woods and the Pro Bowl ended in a tie... would anyone care?
Anyone planning on watching the Pro Bowl? Has anyone ever watched a Pro Bowl?

No. Never. One more instance where baseball gets the negative pub, but NFL's product sucks worse.

I would rather watch grass grow. The Pro Bowl is one of the most boring events in sports.

They still play Pro Bowls? The only all star event I watch is baseballs.

I can't think of a more boring event in pro sports. No continuity on the teams, certain defenses aren't allowed, and the players don't care about winning.
I think they've given up on hyping the product, because they realize nobody cares. |

They don't even have other competitions to hype the Pro Bowl...and when they did, Robert Edwards suffered an injury that kept him out of football for two years and then a third when New England released him in 2001.
The 100 college football all-star games they have are typically more interesting... |

How could any wrong that he did compare with that?" - John Sears |

The NFC defenders did a better job of getting out of the way of opposing players than the AFC defenders did. (I think so, anyway... I was very confident about this when I started typing... but now I'm not so sure. It would have helped in answering this if I'd seen the game... ) |

Even hard core football fans don't care about the Pro Bowl. I only flip by it to see what the weather is like in Hawaii. I didn't even realize that they had played it this year already until I saw this thread.

I don't think there's a worse programming combination in sports than the NHL All-Star Game - Pro Bowl doubleheader. The saddest part is that the NHL would actually be happy if their Stanley Cup ratings were as high as the Pro Bowl's.

Perhaps Commission Tagliabue needs to change the league by-laws so that the conference that wins the Pro Bowl is the home team in the following Super Bowl......
