Name a starting pitcher in a World Series who didn't bat ninth? When did he do it?

Babe Ruth batted 6th on Sept. 9, 1918 and pitched 8 innings.

Welcome back Tre. Hope to see you here a lot.
Right you are. In the last Series that the Red Sox won, in the fourth game Babe had a triple in 5 AB while starting and batting sixth. It was also the game where Babes string of 29 WS scoreless innings was stopped. He is the only starting pitcher to bat in a position other than ninth |
