This is the last 13 years - - only 2 LH RP have managed more than 2 seasons of 70+ APP with an RSAA over 8.

Does this mean that a good LH RP is gold - - or, the need for one is overrarted since so many teams manage to win without a LH RP going 70/9 or greater?

Good point - - seems like any RP doing this more than twice - RH or LH - is a short lisy:

hmmm....looking at these lists, it seems that any reliever can come out of nowhere and shine for a year or two... at which a point a team should then look for another cheap reliever who can come out of nowhere. and not hand out a 3-yr $9 million contract to the reliever who has just finished having the good years.
