Red face The True Workhorse Hurlers

I never would have guessed that Bobo would be in the top 4 on this list. Anyone surprise you? Why?

Just a question. Why seasons in a row instead of just total seasons?

Also, why 30+ games - isn't a season with 28 games and 200 IP more of a workhorse season than 30 games and 180 IP. I would make the criterion simply 200 IP and leave it at that

I went with consecutive seasons to show who was good "year in, year out" - - figuring just "total seasons" would allow for someone to make the list who pitched a full season, was unreliable for two seasons, then pitched again, etc.

I went with 30 and 180 because I thought 6 IP per start was more than reasonable to expect out of a guy - on average.

I wonder how the strike seasons of 1981 and 1994 affected streaks ?

Also 180 innings pitched is barely above the minimum number of innings necessary to qualify for the ERA title
