I originally thought "Sheffield" was referring to one of those old British industrial cities.....

cartman, you're correct. Sheffield, England is known as the "Steel City" and has been famous for high quality steel and steel products for many years.

that's where sheffield steel is based, according to their site. so i figured since you live in MO, that's why you heard of 'em
