What is your Favorite ONE Day during the BB Season?
My favorite, far and away is Opening Day, with everything that is in the air...sellout crowds everywhere, even Montreal.... Not far behind are the day that Pitchers and Catchers Report, July 4, and the First day of the Playoffs..... What is your favorite day doing the season, and why? Andrew |

Opening day. Easily the best since there's always hope.

I like the first game of the World Series. A lot of excitement is in the air and baseball is on the National stage.
Opening day is nice also. A little cold here in Detroit but nice nonetheless. |

Any day I get to go to the ballpark.
I also love the playoffs. I love the crispness of the air in Autumn and the intensity with which the game is played. And of course, opening day has its own special place, marking the end of a long wait and the beginning of another great season of baseball. ![]()

You want me to pick one of the 162?
That is like picking one of your children. I love the Sox home opener. I think my favorite is Patriots day......it is an 11:35 start, there is also a Boston Marthon going on too, we get to pay taxes late, and the Sox always win! It is also written in my contract that I have that day off.....along with IF the Sox make it to the playoffs and/or the World Series. ![]()

I've got three picks. Of course Opening Day is one of them.
I prefer the first day of spring training games over pitchers and catchers reporting for the reason that that's when I first make contact again with the Mariners, and with Dave Niehaus and his broadcasting friends, and I like listening to him and even Rick Rizzs as much as I do watching them on TV warming up. And, because I'm strange, I'll say July 31st, the trading deadline. I always love that day because I love the rumours that lead up that day and all the deals that go down...it's just fun for me. |
