Default Ending on an unusual note...

Who was the last regular pitcher to play his final major league game elsewhere in the field?

Probably not the most recent, Big Train finish his career
as a pinch-hitter.

You're right, it's not the most recent.

Bad hint time: This guy spent all his time with one team, 11 seasons all told, had a losing record but is among the teams' top 10 in wins. He watched a HR go over his head while afield from a player that didn't have another at bat afterwards for 5 years, a guy that had a brief cameo in the postseason this season.

A bad hint is better than no hint.

Bill Wegman of the Brewers was in RF on 10-1-95 when Chris Donnels of the Red Sox hit a homer in the Sox 8-1 loss to the Brewers. It was both Wegman's last ML appearance. Donnels would also disappear from the scene until 2000 when he resurfaced with the Dodgers.

Wegman played 11 season for tbe Brew Crew and despite a 81 - 90 record is their fifth winningest pitcher.

Hit that right on the button.
Though I gotta wonder what Phil Garner was thinking by doing this...
