Mets Bilked In Kickback Scheme

More bad news. The Mets were reportedly bilked out of a couple million by this scheme masterminded by a ex lower level executive of the team. My questions are this: 1. Why, if this was turned over to the DA in 2000, are the charges just occuring now? Or was this a typo? 2. Is Johnny Sack involved, or is he tied up in the Esplanade project in Newark?  |
