Simple -- you go to a club and they shoot foam on you.
http://www.app.com/app2001/story/0,21133,619548,00.html There's no place like foam By CHRIS JORDAN Staff Writer Eat your heart out, Mr. Bubbles. Foam parties are the newest club trend and they're providing, er, good clean fun for teen club goers in the area. The suds flew last month at Krome in Sayreville. "The foam feels good, like little bubbles," said Valvatina Arce, 17 of Manalapan. "I feel like a little kid in a bath tub." Friend Pablo DeJesus, 18 of Sayreville, had a different perspective. "Girls wearing their bathing suits and getting wet is sexy!" DeJesus said. The foam also has been flying at Club Abyss in Sayreville, Birch Hill in Old Bridge and Platinum in New Brunswick. A typical party features one or two cannons shooting foam onto a dance floor while strobe lights dazzle and club music throbs. Dancers wear light clothing -- which gets soaked by the end of the night -- or bathing suit tops, as DeJesus noted. Emcee James Strz, who, at 17, is the area's youngest emcee, set the mood at Krome. "Foam! Foam! We love foam!" chanted Strz. "My job as emcee is to know how to build them up to a certain peak," said Strz, also known as James Strzykalski of South Amboy. "I go on the mic and ask them if they want the foam, and they go crazy!" They're going crazy for foam around the world. The concept originated in Ibiza, Spain, about 15 years ago, and has been popular generally in warmer parts of the globe. |

I've accidentally seen a few of the locals unveiled and believe me, it's for the best.

Sayreville, NJ is about 15 years behind the times. They were doing stuff like this at the Limelight in NYC many a moon ago.
I can recall folks in Mexico vacation nightclubs doing it too - - long, long, time ago. I think it was called soap parties then. Downside was that a lot can happen "inside" the foam - - - it's almost the same as being in a heavy fog or pitch black room - - - - and, if I recall correctly, girls were getting physically abused once the bubbles provided the cloak.

Ah, the much-mourned Limelight. That placed rocked.
So Max, have you ever gone to one? |

My fraternity first did one when I was pledging (spring 1998). We rented two foam guns, and filled the basement to about waist level.
It was an instant hit. We moved it to the fall, and it was (and continues to be) the biggest party on campus. Eventually (junior year for me) we just made our own setup: -The mechanical engineers (in the fraternity) built foam guns -The chemical engineers (in the fraternity) devised a foam mix [we tested several - try #1 was really itchy]. I must say that those foam parties were fun and crazy. good times, as bill simmons would say. |

You keep hearing that girls are smarter than guys but you know we have been coming up with schemes for millenia to get them naked and no matter how silly the ideas are they just keep working.
