Thumbs up Hello Netshrine

This is a great board, one I expect to spend more time reviewing. I'm living in Toronto, Canada, I'm a huge baseball junkie and a fans of the Montreal Expos (born in Montreal) and the Toronto Blue Jays (work home games for them). I do have soft spots for the Bosox and the Cubs and sincerely hope their World Series dry spell ends in my lifetime.

Their fans deserve it.

I already own Lee's Sabremetric Encyclopedia and think it's great. The bets it wins for me makes the price well worth it. I also subscribe to ATM and UTK and thank Lee, Will and Rachael for their efforts.

"Welcome!" from me.

Please be sure to read this thread:

You should find it very helpful.

Work for the Blue Jays? Are you the "server" that works the luxury boxes directly behind homeplate?

Happy posting!

Welcome guerinto!

I am bosox fan who has a soft spot for the Spos. Catch them while I am on vacation. They have a bad rap, great place to see a game.

Lee and Will cont to bring great posters! Look forward to future posts! Happy posting!

Welcome welcome! Anyone who can root for the Cubs to win a series is a friend of mine.

And anyone who can even remember Coco Laboy or Dan Schatzeder also has a warm place in my heart.

WOW!!! I must admit I'm overwhelmed by the response to my introduction.

Max Power: Thanks for creating the board and for the introduction to the rules. I'll do my best to follow. P.S. There's a new, more talented action girl now. Where's home for you? Check her out next time you get a Jays telecast. She's even hotter than the previous girl and she was/is awesome!

hmrsf: Thanks for the encouragement. The 'Spos and their fans deserve better.

BBapplepie: Thanks for the welcome

SmedIndy. Dan I remember well. Coco is a little outside of my memory range, other than what I've read in books. I am only 35 and started watching baseball when I was 12, which brings me to 1979. Everything prior to that is books and old hilight clips.

skip: Thanks for the welcome.

nyyfanforlife: I actually DON'T hate the Yankees, unlike a lot of bball fans outside of NYC. Their history is incredible, much like my Montreal Canadiens. I was in Yankee Stadium this summer for 2 games against the Jays, and if not for my wife being with me, I would have seen even more. Place can give you goosebumps!

gyb and spitball: guerinto is my network ID at work - my last name = Guerin and the 1st 2 letters of my first name, Tony.

Look forward to future chats gents. Thanks again!!!

Action Girl. Is that what they call her?

Sounds like a comic book that Millhouse would read...............

I'm in the NY/NJ/CT area - - CF shots on Yankee games is the best view I can get!

Welcome aboard - I think you will find that the level of discourse here is considerably more civil and more informative than on most other sports forums.

How could any wrong that he did compare with that?" - John Sears
