Who's going to win the Super Bowl? TV - of course. Beyond that, I'll check back in around T-Giving.

With a month to go in the football season I have even less of idea of answer to this question than when I asked it three months ago. Curse this blasted parity!!!! Will one team please step up and look like a contender??

I'm with you, SF - it's hard to pick any kind of clear-cut favorite at this point. Only 4 weeks ago, I still thought the Rams had as good a chance as anyone, and look where they are now.
The Bucs beat the Packers, the Saints beat the Bucs, and the Falcons beat the Saints. And you never know what 49ers team will show up week-to-week. The AFC has some good teams, but again nobody who looks unstoppable. If I had to pick, I'd only guess that an NFC team will win. I think their top teams are better than the AFC's best. But who knows? |

If I had to pick today, I'd say Raiders over Bucs in Chucky-Bowl I.

can i say i dislike the new 8-division system? you shouldn't have something that looks like this:
AFC East MIA 7-5 NE 7-5 NYJ 6-6 BUF 6-6 AFC West SD 8-4 OAK 8-4 DEN 7-5 KC 6-6

Careful guys....this is what Bud aspires to.
Personally, I don't think any of them can win. |

While it's good that any team (except the Bengals) has a chance to win each week, I really think we're seeing the negative side of parity. I long for the days when there were a few premier teams, and it really meant something if you beat them. Nowadays, there are no teams that stand out as head and shoulders better than everyone else.
A few years ago, I thought the Rams might be building a dynasty. With their demise, it seems like anybody can win right now. I don't mind some kind of salary cap, but I think they need to change it to at least allow re-signing of your own free agents. It's hard to build a great team when you lose so much of your team every season, especially in a sport where timing and teamwork is so vital and takes a long time to establish. And I'll go with the Bucs to win it. |

It's still up in the air in the AFC but for the Superbowl I like the Eagles over the Raiders.

That would be a "bad blood" Super Bowl. AL Davis would doubly hate to lose that one. |
