He was born dirt poor, he had slow hands, he had one lung and could hardly sing.
He changed Rock 'n' Roll forever. Link Wray. (this message has been brought to you by the "Link Wray for the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame" action committee). |

Any guitar player that can't play The Rumble is not a guitar player.
If I hit an open jam and whip out Rumble and someone doesn't know it......bad bad bad. Link Wray was a pioneer in the studio as well. Recording alot of his stuff on jerry-rigged gear in a shed ......it don't get better than that. His work with Robert Gordon gave him some notoriety in the 80's but he soon faded again. Keep up the work Y-Town. I got your back. |

Spit -
I agree. Not knowing Link Wray, Eddie Cochran or Chuck Berry should get you thrown out of the club.... |

How could any wrong that he did compare with that?" - John Sears |

Gotta get a Paisley Telecaster. My buddy Robbie has one and I lust after it like Jimmy Carter. |
