I can't think of the name, but was it somebody for the Red Sox in the 1967 season, and then did nothing afterwards ?????

Some Red Sox may have done it in 1967, but someone else has done it more recently.

This isn't my answer--but the Red Sox in 1967 was Billy Rohr, who pitched a CG 1-hitter on 4/14/1967.
