The Devil Rays' clubhouse doors were closed to the media for an hour and 17 minutes following Friday night's 6-5 loss in 10 innings to the Anaheim Angels.

That's a pretty long time, no?

And, now there is something going on where Russ Johnson left the team for "personal reasons" and the club and players are being very tight lipped about it.

Is this whole thing a non-story or something about to explode?

It has to be difficult to be the worst team in baseball year after year after year...

I hope nothing serious is going on, but I would suspect that some tempers flared, some things were said, maybe some punches were thrown, and some feelings were hurt. Hal McRae has a tough road to hoe down there, and I can't see it getting any better anytime soon.

Probably means he was a baaaaaaaaaad booyyy, Abbott.

It's frequently a euphemism for "you flunked the drug test," although it can also be a euphemism for "domestic problems."
