Sweet! Thanks, Steve!

I tried to post these myself, but the pix were too large. Anyhoo, I met one of my childhood Cleveland friends who now lives in Louisiana for the holiday weekend in Atlanta (it's about halfway between Greensboro and New Orleans). On Labor Day we caught the Braves/Pirates game with Maddux on the hill. Since I was at a "neutral park", i.e. no vested interest in the victory of either team, I wore my very spiffy NetShrine t-shirt in place of my usual Indians garb (but I still wore the hat).

Spoke with 3 Braves fans as to the meaning of my shirt, and hopefully they will log on and become members of our little community we call NetShrine.

(Lose the glasses and I kinda have the rounded face of Thome......no?)

Picture #1 - hangin' with The Mighty Casey outside of Turner Field
Picture #2 - in front of my seats down the first base line and in front of the scoreboard to prove "I was there"

Hope you enjoy. Buy some cool gear, hit the streets, and talk up NetShrine!

Never have, and likely never will, an avatar and a real photo look so alike.

Sidebar: And while we're on it, where are the publically publishable photos from the big Netshrine Indy gig? Smed? Will? Sweav? OrieGirl?

I can see some Thome in you. Thanks for sharing! I wonder if we all look like our favorite players? No Skip, I do not have a moustache.

It is difficult sometimes to see real photos when you associate someone so closely with their avatar, but in this case...

First time at Turner? Like it? Go up to the Coke deck? (my fav spot there)

It was actually my 2nd time there at Turner Field. My first was a couple years ago and my wife and I travelled there for one of those "last exhibition games before the regular season begins" between my beloved Indians and the Braves.

And both times I did not make it to the Coke deck on the roof. We were too busy looking around witnessing all the other homages to the Ted Turner Empire to make it up there.

Will took some pics, but said they were too big to post. I thought he was sending them to Max to post.

Will sent me three, one group shot and a couple of the stadium. I dont know if those were the ones he meant to send you, Max, or if he has other, better ones.
