Default Greetings!!!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone on the Netshrine Bulletin Boards. I'm here by way of UTK by way of ATM Reports. I think with the addition of this website to my Favorites, my baseball appetite is now satiated.

I'm a law student (don't all boo at once) at IU in Bloomington, IN. Not my first choice, but I goofed around too much in undergrad, and my grades didn't exactly match my LSAT scores....

I am currently researching and writing a journal note on the legality of Selig's Bad Idea Jeans (if you know the SNL sketch, I like you already). I.e., whether he can pull off contraction. I'm also considering including some talk on the declining popularity of baseball's anti-trust exemption. So as I come across relevant and non-boring the hell out of me legal points, I will be sure to raise them.

I'm 24, I too am an accomplished cook, thanks to mom, who taught/worked at a notable cooking school for quite some time in the DC area.

I'm looking forward to meeting all of y'all real soon.

Also, if anyone has suggestions for websites or mailing lists similar to Netshrine, Baseball Prospectus, UTK or ATM reports for other sports, i.e. hockey and football, PLEASE let me know!

Cheers!

BJ

Default GPA

My law school GPA doesn't quite meet that level, but its close. Perhaps I should be sent to a 2nd-tier school to work on getting that average up?

Nope, its in reference to "something" else. A double entendre, if you will.

Really? How subtle.

Welcome aboard. Why are you down on IU law school? I'm not an expert on this (unlike about half our members who are all lawyers/law students) but I thought IU Law was a top notch school.

Default GPA?

3.85? There's supposed to be a NUMBER in front of the point?

Not sure what those GPA numbers mean. Never been much for book-learnin'.

I wanted to tell you that I'm a law student, but then I thought, "When am I gonna make it back to Haiti?"

IU's not UVA, or Duke Law, but it isn't Valpo Law either.

A fraternity brother of mine could only get into Valpo. And now I see him on TV all the time with his Dad in their ambulance chasing..er..accidental injury practice.

IU doesn't turn out Lionel Hutz'. At least I don't think so.

Default Uh Oh

I hate to mention it, but didn't Donald Fehr go to IU Law?
