Will Bonds win a batting title?

There was a lot of Barry doing the average triple crown (BA, OBP, SLG) earlier in the year, and he seems to be falling off pace. Just wondering what you peoples think of his chances at getting that batting title are.

I voted no, but not because nobody will pitch to him. Barry is just not normally a real high average hitter, so while he might win one by accident someday, it doesn't seem likely.

Voted no, for reasons similar to sweaver's. He's a great power hitter, but not necessarily as great a hitter for average. He could certainly contend for the title, but I think there are too many other good hitters out there for Barry to have a chance. Of course, I didn't think he would ever hit 73 homers, either.

ignoring the bad pitches thing, he still isnt a high average hitter, and i wouldnt expect him to win one...

Maybe. Eventually, they're going to have to pitch to him.
If he does hit .400, would he be the greatest left fielder ever, if he isn't already now?
