Before the Cubs scored 8 runs in consecutive innings last year, which was the last team to score 8+ in each of two consecutive innings? What about the last NL team (it was before 1900)?

Not sure if this was done again but the Boston Pilgrims scored 9 runs in the second inning and 10 runs in the 3rd inning. This was against the Philadelphia Athletics on May 2, 1901. |

So...that leaves the last NL team, and the last team overall (the Pilgrims were the 2nd last team besides the Cubs to do it). |
