Actually, the Indians ended up winning that game, and it was 'only' a 12 run deficit.
The team I'm looking for tied the game and came back from 15 down to tie it. |

The 15 run comeback took plave between Cleveland and Cincinnati on September 30, 1894. Cleveland scored 15 runs to tie the game before it was called for darkness.
