Actually, the Indians ended up winning that game, and it was 'only' a 12 run deficit.
The team I'm looking for tied the game and came back from 15 down to tie it.

The 15 run comeback took plave between Cleveland and Cincinnati on September 30, 1894. Cleveland scored 15 runs to tie the game before it was called for darkness.
