Is it too early to think that Manny has got a shot? 1st in average, 1st in RBI, and only 2 HR off the pace. And to think he has not yet been 100% healthy.

The HRs will be the hard part - - too many HRs in Fenway become doubles. But, flyouts also become hits. He has a shot. RBI have never been a problem.

Manny is an RBI Machine. Also Having Nomar hitting in front of you can't hurt things. Although he will be on base more, he will also take some of his RBI's.
Once Boston has those two guys going and healthy every second or third innning they are going to be damn tough to get out. |
