Default Where The Wild Things Are

Mitch Williams gave up 544 walks compared to 537 hits in his major league career, in 691 1/3 IP, far and away the most in major league history for a pitcher who finished his career with more walks then hits. Who's pitched the second most innings with a similar result?

I don't know the answer, but I offer a technical correction: I think you mean more W than H

Yeah, that's what I meant, more walks then hits. Temporary lysdexia there.

Lee's CD helped, I bet.
Yep, in the late 40's and early 50's, Weik was the original wild thing, throwing more walks then IP and more walks then hits as well. Only two others, John Briscoe and Walter Beall, with 100+ IP have more walks then hits.
