He played in the major leagues from 1899 to 1917.

his 2961 hits were 649 above league average, tied with Paul Waner for 21st best all-time his 309 triples are the most in history, besting Cobb by 13 his .152 OPS better than league average ranks 62nd all-time |

there has never been anyone from Wahoo, Iowa, baseball player or otherwise
Conner was born in Wahoo, Nebraska there are also Wahoo's in Florida and West Virginia |
