I grew up in the era of the Bash Brothers and Eck
I'd probably vote for this guy even if he WASN'T worthy, just for sentimental reasons
his leaving Oakland (along with Haas selling the team, La Russa leaving, and McGwire leaving the year after) helped to end my relationship with the A's and make me a Giants fan
