he was a great great ballplayer who had just a little too much color and attitude for his time

and he should be oin the other hall too

dear God, yes
people always talk about how Santo deserves so much to be in the HoF, yet Allen had twice Santo's RCAA

Yeah, but Santo played a tough defensive position exceptionally well, while Allen was an indifferent fielder at best. Plus, there's the good guy/jerk thing.

Easy yes, though.
