Default Spivey is traded to the Nationals

The Brewers traded 2B Junior Spivey to the Nationals for P Tomo Ohka.

My first instinct here is maybe Jose Vidro isn't going to be ready right after the all star break.

My first reaction was "Here come Richie Weeks!"

I've been going to games since August 8, 1973....and on August 22, 2004, finally, a foul ball came my way. I had to reach for it, and it deflected off the tip of my right index finger. Shoot, if I was only 4 inches taller!

The first thing that came to mind was a that it was a "spite trade," after the Ohka-Robby incident

A lot of meanings to this trade. I would bet the house that Robby insisted on Ohka being shipped out. I also think that the Brewers want to clear the way for extended playing time for Weeks in a situation where he doesn't have to look over his shoulder. And it doesn't look good for Vidro.
