name 3 great center fielders playing in the same city in the same era.......???

3 any position in the same city would only be NY. Which other city has ever had >2? Only Chicago has ever had 2, but if the year is 1951....................

Hey Yogi, L.A. had 2 teams from 1961-1964 until the Angels renamed themselves California. Pre 1951 we also had Boston & Saint Louis.

You mean the Philadelphia Athletics (now in Oakland), Philadelphia Phillies (formerly Philadelphia Blue Jays and Philadelphia Quakers)? Then there's the Centennials, White Stockings, Keystones, Whites.
