I'm coming up empty - - unless you mean the deal with Honus - - but, that really wasn't a trade. I'm thinking one of the HOFers later went in as a MGR.

Good insight, Steve. One did indeed go in as a manager, though he was traded as a player. After this trade, he did play four more nondescript years, consistent with his prior record.

Last Ed. of the BB Enc. from Mac - - it list all trades. Once I knew it was a HOF MGR, the rest was easy.

HM, I promise not to mention #3, other than whatshisname being the greatest to wear pinstripes, even above Iron Horse.
