Red face Larry and Nomar Go At It

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1851351

I wonder what the RSN really thinks of Larry?

I've been going to games since August 8, 1973....and on August 22, 2004, finally, a foul ball came my way. I had to reach for it, and it deflected off the tip of my right index finger. Shoot, if I was only 4 inches taller!

LL is coming across more and more as a heavy-handed klutz. (Any wonder one hears his name bandied about as a successor to Selig?)

He single-handedly torpedoed the A-Rod/Manny trade, which, started RSN onto the seemingly inevitable jettisoning of Nomar.

John Henry is a smart business man. Theo Epstein is a smart GM. Tom Werner is a smart television producer. One would have to assume that LL is also a smart guy, as I don't think either Henry or Werner would associate in such a high stakes game with a dim bulb. That said, he could stand to spend some time quietly in the background.

If Larry takes over for Selig, I'm done. Baseball would have lost me.

I'm no Lucchino fan, but you can't let Tom Hicks skate completely on this one. According to Henry, he was the primary leak about the status of the negotiations, a charge Hicks never denied.

Its a shame that Luccino is causing such a mess. I hope that if it comes down to Theo vs. Luccino that the Sox keep Theo.

This entire situation is just getting nastier by the day.

It's making Clemens' exit look like a love-fest.

Now they're all bitching about whether or not he got hurt in ST or playing soccer.
Who cares? You traded the guy.
Geez, RS brass. Let it go!

Actually according to the Boston Globe the Red Sox and Nomar's agent agreed on Tuesday to no longer comment on Garciaparra's health. I guess they are sick of it too.

Hey, just for the record, I am coming around to the view that Nomar will not be re-signing with the Red Sox over the winter.
