1) Redsox manager Terry Francona says that, at least for now, Pedro Martinez, and the rest of his starters, will go on a regular 5 day rotation. Instead of pushing the starters back a day, due to off days, 5th starter Bronson Arroyo will miss starts.

After 2.39 ERA/28 RSAA and 2.26 ERA/47 RSAA seasons, Martinez had a 2.22 ERA/53 RSAA in 29 starts in 2003 and is off to a 1.98 ERA/4 RSAA start in 2 starts in 2004.

2) Mets LF Cliff Floyd had to leave yesterday's game, in the 1st inning, due to a strained right thigh.
