Best player: Babe Ruth. A return to the everyday lineup makes this basically a foregone conclusion. George Burns is an odd selection, and hard to defend. Gehrig would have been a much better choice, or even repealing the rule to make Ruth eligible.
Best pitcher: George Uhle. Leader in wins, 2nd to Grove in ERA and strikeouts. Best rookie: Tony Lazzeri hit .275 with 114 RBI. |

Best Hitter: Babe Ruth
Ruth is back and ready to dominate for the next 8 years. He hit 47 home runs and the runner up only hit 19. His OPS+ is 73 points higher than the next player. Best Pitcher: George Uhle Uhle went 27-11 with an ERA+ of 144 for the 2nd place Indians. Lefty Grove's record wasn't good but he did pitch very well.
