Ok, since this forum is about 'other' baseball news, tell us all what baseball related stuff you got for Christmas, or for whatever holiday you celebrate, or just got anyway, recently.

I got a copy of Leavy's Koufax book, which I already had a copy of, so that's not a big help. Nothing else baseball-wise ... I think everyone I know has, for the most part, decided to let me satisfy my baseball cravings myself.
(I did get several CDs though). |

I didn't get anything baseball related. I did, however, recently purchase the newest SBE.

Same here. I bought the new SBE, along with a couple of older Sporting News baseball annuals (I'm trying to put together a collection). |

Four baseball books, two baseball DVDs, and something to hang on the wall. Also, a Ted Williams hallmark ornament for the tree.

I got Larry Dierker's "This Ain't Brain Surgery" memoir, which I had mentioned elsewhere earlier. I had forgotten the tie-in with his own brain surgery. I also got this year's Hallmark baseball ornament, which was a Jason Giambi figurine.

Funny, the Reds fan got Giambi, and the Yankees fan (me) got Ted Williams. My wife said she just couldn't go for Giambi, for some reason.

I got an Almanac that has baseball stuff in it...and I got NASCAR Thunder 2004 for X-Box which has a couple of the All-Star Game paint schemes in it too.
![]() I really didn't ask for anything baseball this year...my dad got the SBE out of the way in November, and I wasn't interested in anything Christmasy until I suddenly got the yen for an X-Box, and then focused on getting football, hockey, and racing games for it. I actually didn't get the football game, I got a 3D Platformer instead, but I'll get it soon enough. I'll get a baseball game in April when they make MLB Slugfest Pro (or 20-04). Speaking of the SBE...has Lee updated it some? I have a version which has 2003 World Series stuff in it, and I'm not certain if he's done any fixes to it since. |

Giambi was the new one. My wife has been getting me the new Hallmark ornament from the series each year, so I have a set of several.

Do you mind sharing what the two DVD's are? I've got a good collection of DVD's, but always want more, more and even more. So, I'm hoping you got something I don't already have, so I can find out about and go get it.

I just checked the database and your order was placed right around the time that maybe yours would have the 2003 awards added, maybe it was sent out a few days earlier. If they aren't in there, let me know and I'll send you a patch file that will update it.
