I've just borrowed this one through interlibrary loan, and I'm curious if anyone else has read it. If so, any comments?

I have not read it. Sounds interesting though. Maybe I'll read it sometime.

Finally got around to reading this one. I enjoyed it quite a bit, if only because it provided an interesting perspective on both Mick's career and his place in history. It's a much more sobering (no pun intended) account than you'll find in any of Mantle's self-written books.

Nobody comes off unscathed, including Mantle, his wife, and both of his parents. Kind of sad in many ways, but an excellent read.
