What was the only time that managers stole home on the same day?

I am sure Casey stole home some time in his career, but he never stole a base as a manager, let alone home.

In that case, Sweet Lou simply must be involved - though I do not recall him stealing home.

No, Sweet Lou, is not involved. Before we go off on a tangent the question refers to the baseball act of advancing to another base on a pitch under threat of being put out.

I'll take a wild swing and say Bucky Harris was one of the pilferers.

If the question is "Who's the manager stole home most times?" then the answer absolutely is George Peach (he did it four times)... but I think it's not what KCBOOMER means.

While I don't know the answer, I think I understand the question.
Boomer tells us that on a given day, two different managers (presumably playing managers) stole home. He wants us to tell him when that happened. Boomer, correct me if I'm wrong. |

To clear up any questions about these two guys I want to make it clear they were the managers of their teams on the day they stole home.

Frank Chance of the Cubs stole home for the only run in a 1-0 win over the Redsl Fred Clarke of the Pirates also stole home that day in the Bucs 10-1 win over the Cardinals. |
