Mike Cameron, Todd Walker and Robby Alomar - that's surprising.

Not really. Only Cameron is truly surprising.

Now, Sheffield and Lopez not being offered I find surprising. But after getting burned last off-season by Maddux, I suppose the Braves are twice shy.

I was especially surprised to see the red sox not offer arbitration to todd walker. With the Javier Vazquez trade and Vladimir Guerrero parting, the expos are definetely going to have enough money to give Jose Vidro a respectable contract offer. Kaz Matsui isa with the mets, and Luis Castillo has re-signed with the Marlins. The Red Sox are gonna have trouble filling their 2nd base hole, unless can really trust the "reliable" bat of Damien Jackson.
