One of the few bright spots for the Browns this season, RB William Green, was busted for DUI and possession of marijuana.
Green was apparently stopped only four hours after leaving the Browns training facility in Berea, and his blood-alcohol level was already twice the legal limit. What's next? |

Green was suspended when he was at Boston College, allegedly for marijuana use/possession, so this isn't anything new.
It's disappointing, though, in that you think he would have grown enough from that experience to put the drug use behind him. I wonder if this is just a mistake he made, or if he has a bigger problem that needs to be dealt with. |

...if they start busting every athlete who smokes dope, they'll be a lot of open roster spaces ....if there was no intent to deal, the dui is far more bothersome than the possesion, for me, at least

I agree about the possession.
The problem I have is that he was driving all over the road, drunk, with a flat tire, not four hours after leaving ther Browns' training facility. Get him off the road. |

I agree with that. My concern had more to do with the fact that the marijuana used in possible combination with alcohol might suggest something more serious than smoking a little weed occasionally. If possession and occasional use is the extent of it, that's fine. But if I had a lot of money sunk into this kid, I'd want to know a little more about his habits. |

As if things aren't bad enough, Green has now been hospitalized after his fiancee allegedly stabbed him in the back:
