There is a new one man show running in New York with Ben Gazzara as Yogi Berra. Here is an article:

Gazzara is big baseball fan having pratically grown up in Yankee Stadium. I'm hoping it comes out to SF, so I
can catch this.

there was an article on the new yorker about this (maybe in the going on about town section) about six weeks back i think

I read that as well, but there's no way to link to that section of the New Yorker's web site.
