Who had a better season and why?

This was a toughie. Both had great seasons. RC's about the same. Chipper created about 1 run more per game. Jeter had a much higher batting average .362 - .319, but BA's are overrated.
Chipper had about 30 points on the OPS and made fewer outs. RCAA & RCAP about the same, as is OWP. Whew!

But Chipper had a 100 point advantage in ISO and 200+ points in the secondary average. He also had more stolen bases?!

Jeter is better on defense and SS is a more valuable position. I would call it even, except I think Chipper was more valuable to his team. That plus his slightly better run production and power numbers makes him my choice.

But I do like Jeter.
