My real hero was always my father, the recently departed CDR Paul L. Dennis, USN (ret.). I only wish I had his integrity and sense of duty and honor. My sporting hero was Carl Yastrzemski My political hero was Barry Goldwater, who was one of the last honest politicians

How could any wrong that he did compare with that?" - John Sears |

You know though, I don't think I have a 'hero' ... at least no one comes immediately to mind. That's sad. |

Daniel Berrigan,S.J.,priest,poet activist, friend.Willaim Blake....and a man named Tom R., who through patience that defies any known boundary, has listened ,cajoled, and carried me through the past 20 1/2 years of sobriety.

Guys - this topic is a reach for the "entertainment" forum
See: http://www.netshrine.com/vbulletin2/...ead.php?t=8146 It's too close to being a "Just Shooting It" topic - which the NDF no longer supports. Sorry. I have to kill this one. If you would like to discuss, send me a PM or e-mail to curator@netshrine.com Thanks

It makes for remarkable and sincere discourse. |
