Not for me. I'm not much on managers and Anderson fits the classic profile of "he was just as good as his horses".

you mean as a manager, right?
well, i vote yes. you can have some great ballplayers and not win. and you can have a whole lot of lousy ballplayers and win. i disbelieve that a manager, especially back then, got little to no influence
