If you could eliminate an AL Park and an NL Park, which two would you blow up? And, why?
For me, it would be the Homerdome in the AL (becuase it plays like marbles in a bathtub) and Olympic Stadium in Montreal (because it is so boring). Honorable mention to Tropicana Field and Veterans Stadium. |

Shea? Buzz, say it ain't so! Mike Vail, the first Brian Giles, Craig Swann - - oh, all those memories!
![]() The Expos game last night drew 4,340 – the smallest crowd at Olympic Stadium for an Expos' game since drawing 4,262 on Oct. 3, 1990. Expos owner Jeffrey Loria was on hand for the game and he offered, via a scoreboard announcement, a free ticket to each of the fans for any of the five remaining games on the homestand. Isn't that like offering more poison to a person dying of poison? |

The Metrodome, only because I grew up watching games at Metropolitan Stadium, not the Metrodome.

Looks like ESPN's Page 2 did a similar poll. Here are the findings.
Here's how the Page 2 staff ranked the bottom baseball stadiums: 1. Olympic Stadium: It looked drab and dreary when Andre Dawson and Gary Carter played there. So, was it ever cool? 2. Veterans Stadium: Ugly, but the turf does remind some players of their childhood days of playing stickball in the street. 3. Tropicana Field: Nothing like being forced to go inside to watch baseball on a beautiful sunny day in St. Pete. 4. New Comiskey Park: A monstrosity trapped between the ageless classics and the new wave of retro parks. 5. The Metrodome: As a general rule, building an outfield wall out of a hefty bag doesn't add to the ambiance. Dishonorable mention: Shea Stadium, Cinergy Field

Worst of the "new" parks by far - - Jerry R and his boys really got hosed. Serves 'em right. |
