About a year ago, some guidelines were laid out in terms of where is the right place to post a topic. But, since then, several additional forums were created - which make those previous guidelines now somewhat obsolete. Therefore, going forward, please follow these rules of the road - and, if you have any questions, post them in this thread. Thanks!

Covering present day baseball, including things in the news - both on and off the field

Something going on this season/off-season, albeit on the field (i.e., "The Maple Bat Craze") or off the field (i.e., "Bud's latest effort to kill the sport")? This is the place to post it. Please note - if it is something about this season, but is personal (i.e., "I finally got to PacBell yesterday!") please use the forum "Just Shooting It." Also, if it's a post on a specific player this season - either news or commentary - please use the forum "Player Analysis & Scouting."

Around The Majors Reports
The place to review and discuss Lee Sinins' "Around the Majors" (Daily Baseball Details).

99.99% of the time, Lee Sinins should be the only one starting a thread here. If for some reason you think you need to start a thread here, PM user "nyy26wc" first. While Lee starts 'em, all are encouraged to read them and reply. Lee's ATM reports are the best source of what's going on in baseball and is an excellent primer for great baseball discourse.

Baseball History
The spot for discussing anything having to do with baseball's past.

Pretty self-explanatory here - want to discuss something about a player(s), team(s), season(s) from baseball's past, this is the place to do it.

Active Player News, Analysis, & Commentary

Discuss performance, news, etc. (this season) on specific current players and prospects (in the majors, minors, school and abroad).

If you want to post on a specific player this season - either news or commentary - please use this forum. Also, use this forum to discuss any type of baseball fantasy/rotisserie/SIM/PC/Board games.

The place to review and discuss Will Carroll's "Under The Knife" (Baseball Injury Reports).

If you have a great baseball trivia question, and want to challenge the forum members, this is the place for it. Please, only post a question if you know the answer. Also, please be sure to follow up on your threads to supply the answer or confirm an answer. Lastly, please try and keep it to one question per thread and make sure your subject line on the tread provides some specific information as to what the question is about.
