WOW! He's all set to break his own record this year! Even if this isn't the one Boomer was going for.

Too bad he pitched so "well" his last outing, he WAS over 7 for the year.

Yep, that's it. Lima now holds the AL, NL, and, obviously, the MLB record for highest single-season ERA by a starter with 30 or more starts. I went with AL record only because Erik Milton had a chance in his last start to surpass Lima's NL record but pitched a good game.

LaTroy Hawkins was the prior record holder in the AL with a 6.65 ERA.
