2) The Rangers re-signed P Doug Brocail to a 1 year, $1 million contract. He would have become a free agent.

After missing 3 years due to injuries, Brocail had a 4.13 ERA/6 RSAA in 43 games. He has a 3.89 career ERA, compared to his league average of 4.43, and 34 RSAA in 381 games.

3) According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, there is speculation that the Braves are interested in Yankees P Kevin Brown.

4) The Reds re-signed P Josh Hall to a minor league contract and invited OF Kenny Kelly and P Jeriome Robertson to spring training, as nonroster invitees.

He filed "provincinally." He doesn't officially hit the free market until the Mets go through the formality of declining his option.

BTW, I just noticed that Hideo Nomo had a 60 point swing in RSAA from 2003 to 2004. Is that a record?
